With an ever-expanding public consciousness surrounding the wider environmental impact of our daily choices, a mammoth 53% of consumers report now using less disposable plastic compared to last year - a revolution being labelled ‘The Attenborough Effect’.

With estimates that at least 8 million pieces of plastic are deposited into the ocean each day, there’s still substantially more to be done - but with half of digital consumers saying that environmental concerns directly impact their purchasing decisions, there is already an observable shift in consumer behaviour towards more sustainable, greener practice. Less single-use plastic 

Undoubtedly the most significant change within the packaging industry will be the significant drop in the use of single-use plastics in favour of more eco-friendly packaging solutions. With a shocking 50% of plastic only being used once, single-use plastics are one of the primary causes of an increasingly damaged ecosystem.
