Awesome Ways to Bring Branded Packaging to Life

On cafe counters and food stalls, it pays to have your product’s packaging stand out. Whether you’re selling lattes to early morning commuters or producing gourmet confectionary for adults with a sweet tooth, to cut through the noise, your brand packaging needs to be something special - and today, you’re in luck.

We’re giving you some favourite examples of our own work using packaging to bring a business’s branding to life.

Be simple: Mister Woods

Overcomplicating a design can be the downfall of your brand’s packaging - and, as you can see from the packaging we designed for Mister Woods, it’s not necessary. Using the brand’s existing bold logo on the front of each branded coffee cup, customers can take away a distinctly branded product that is simple but effective.

Be iconic: The Fishmarket

Sometimes, certain types of food packaging are made that way for a reason. Whether that’s because of practical considerations or simply an iconic style, sometimes rewriting the book isn’t the best thing to do. In this packaging design for The Fishmarket, we paid homage to traditional fish and chips boxes while injecting a branded spin by printing the iconic chippy’s logo both internally and externally.

Be bright: Mason + Rye

The Fenwicks food hall in Newcastle is brimming with culinary delights - and that makes standing out a challenge. For Mason + Rye, this eye-catching piece of packaging guarantees that customers walk away with a memorable marketing asset that’ll have their friends and colleagues intrigued at first sight. Sometimes, it pays to be bold with your design choices - and in Mason + Rye’s case, that’s exactly what we delivered using its existing branding.

Be uniformed: Longsands Fish Kitchen & Canaca

Longsands Fish Kitchen bespoke food packaging

Like many small businesses, Longsands Fish Kitchen was keen to make its branding consistent across different channels - from website to food packaging. In this range, we used the brand’s existing motif and chunky logo to create a uniformed look that’s smart, stylish and slick.

Canaca bespoke food packaging

It was a similar story for the startup Canaca, who wanted to print their established branding assets across a range of products. From branded coffee cups to takeaway bags, we managed to produce a characterful set of packaging materials that keeps the brand at the centre of the customer journey from start to finish.

Be eco-friendly: Vegware, Go-Pak & Celebration

eco-friendly food packaging

As consumers become increasingly conscious of waste, making the move to eco-friendly packaging could emphasise your business’s commitment to the planet - and if the environment is at the heart of your brand’s messaging, then this is a no-brainer. At R+R, we work closely with a number of industry influencers to bring you bespoke, environmentally friendly packaging, including Vegware, Go-Pak and Celebration.
